A message from Katie via Instagram:
I love being creative and Iโ€™m inspired all the time by other creative women who live their truth. ๐Ÿ”ฅ  ... Hereโ€™s a pic of me and (โ€œDelightfulโ€ director) Anna Haas when we were in LA for another film fest last April. ๐Ÿ‘ฏโ€ I canโ€™t believe that was a year ago and we STILL have so much to celebrate with this baby! ๐Ÿ’
I wrote this song about making the world a kinder place if only we choose to be delightful to ourselves and to others and take responsibility for our own happiness without giving that power to an outside source. And an underlying theme in the music video is women empowerment, which Anna portrays so lovely in the movement of the filmโ€™s story. This award is special. Cheers and martini glass *clinks* to women creatives everywhere! ๐Ÿ’„๐Ÿ’‹๐ŸŽฌ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽž๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿปโค๏ธ
