Hey everyone!

I know it's been a while since I've been in touch. A lot of things are in the works right now keeping me very busy. I initially was planning on touring this spring, but decided to hold off the tour until summer/fall so I have time to record my next CD!

Besides gearing up for recording, in the coming weeks, I will have a newly revamped web site up and mailing list as well. New things are happening all the time, so please check my web site for updates!

During the next few months, I will be taking a little time off performing so I can mostly concentrate on recording and working on a few new projects. In the meantime though, I have a few gigs on the calendar coming up that I hope you can make!

I have just returned from my road trip down to the Santa Barbara wine country for the Durango Songwriter's Expo. It was my first time attending this conference and I learned some new things, met new artists and industry pros, and even ran into a couple old friends :) It was nice to be surrounded by so many people sharing the same passion as I do--songwriting!

Saturday, March 8th I will be volunteering as a mentor for the local peninsula Boys & Girls Club's "Girl's Day." Being a role model to young kids, especially young girls, is something that's very important to me. This is my second year volunteering as a mentor for Girl's Day and I encourage everyone who is interested in mentoring the youth to check out their local Boys & Girls Club chapter. Happy New Year Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and new years. I want to let you know about a couple things I have coming up this month.

(1) ~January Gigs~

This Saturday I will be playing a solo show in downtown Mountain View at Red Rock Coffee. Red Rock is an intimate and cozy coffee house that is a huge supporter of local arts, music, and community. It's actually a not-for-profit business. It takes all profits not used to support the ongoing business of the cafe and donates them to other non-profit and charity groups. My kinda place :) Located on the ever-flowing foot traffic and restaurant lined Castro Street, this is a great little spot to get yummy coffee, support the community, and come see some free live music!

If you're in the SF area, on January 20th I'll again be opening for friends Raising Days at Grant & Green in the North Beach district. Dave Lockhart will accompany me on upright bass so come check it out if you're around. We would love to see ya ;-)

Currently, I am planning and routing out a Spring tour. I'm really excited to get back on the road. I can't wait! This will be my second tour and will probably kick off in May. I will keep you posted on details as they develop, but in the meantime you can always check my web site for updates.

Hi Everyone,

Is it really already December? Wow! This year went by so fast! To think back to all the places I played at and different states and cities I toured at, plus all the new people I met, it's just amazing. This year has been good to me and YOU have all been the greatest supporters and friends I could ever ask for. I've got some special shows going on this month, including a big one to close the year! Please read on for the info :)

In the spirit of the holiday season and giving back to the community in general, I will be performing my second annual Toys For Tots benefit show Saturday, December 8th. I will be performing a solo set at the Chit Chat Cafe in Pacifica. The Marine Toys For Tots drive makes it possible for every family to have a happy holiday by distributing toys to needy children. Be sure to bring a toy (or a few) to donate to this wonderful foundation! (See venue details below)

I'll also be opening up again for alternative rock band Raising Days at Fat City in SF this month. Check out show details below.

I wanted to update you on the solo gigs I have coming up for the rest of this month. I also have a good suggestion for giving to good causes at the end of this email if anyone is interested.

Tomorrow-- Wednesday, November 14th I'll be playing at the Pacifica Farmers Market from 2:30 to 6:30 pm. The market is located in Surfers' parking lot at Rockaway Beach on Hwy 1.

After that, I head over to Caffe Trieste in San Francisco to perform at a Songsalive showcase at 7:30 pm. Check out the organization at http://www.songsalive.org

Friday, November 30th I'll be opening up for my friends and alternative rock band Raising Days at the Octopus Lounge in Pacifica. This should be a really fun show so if you're around, come check it out--the Octopus is a cool spot.

I strongly believe in using my music to help other causes, and since Thanksgiving and the holidays are quickly approaching, I have an easy and fast way for you to give to important causes if you so desire. On my Myspace page (under the About me section below the video) and also on the Extras page on my web site (click on the Organizations link), there are 6 buttons for great causes (hunger, breast cancer, child health, literacy, animal rescue, and rainforests). On each of these websites, you can click a button to support the cause -- each click creates funding, and costs you nothing! Trust me, they don't ask for anything--not even your name or email. You just click the button and that's it. It will tell you what you provided by clicking it. Little Fox Show Tomorrow Night!

Only one day remains to get advance tickets to the Little Fox show tomorrow night! That's right, tomorrow night--this Sunday, October 28th!

I'll be performing at a special concert to raise awareness for local missing persons, as part of the non-profit GINA For Missing Persons Foundation's Squeaky Wheel Tour. GINA�s Squeaky Wheel Tour brings together recording and performing artists from 50 states and 8 countries in an effort to raise awareness of all the people who go missing every year. Part of the reason why I love my job so much as an artist is to be able to contribute to causes that I believe in. This is one of them and I'm very happy to be part of this tour.

I'm hoping a lot of you will make it to this concert to lend a little support to the cause. Also, the Little Fox is a very intimate venue and a good listening space (not a noisy bar/club scene). There is a bar :) but it's definitely a venue to listen and HEAR the music! Plus you get to see three different singer-songwriters perform so there will be a good variety and blend of original music.

Hi Folks,

As most of you know, I'll be performing at the Little Fox in Redwood City, CA next Sunday 10/28. The show is part of the Squeaky Wheel Tour, the second annual grassroots effort to gain international attention for missing people and bring loved ones home. The tour was created by the non-profit GINA for Missing Persons FOUNDation (http://www.411Gina.org). I will be performing along with two other Bay Area artists, Lisa Montes and Eoin Harrington and we'll be profiling four missing people from the Bay Area, as well as raising awareness in general for the missing. Last year, 10 people profiled during the SWT were found. We hope to do our part to contribute to the success of this organization.

The show is only one week away and I'm counting down the days because I'm so excited to be a part of this tour and this very important cause.
